Henry was born in 1965 in Kuru/Henaguru village Eastern Highland Province PNG. In 1988 he attended the Waigani Art Centre and obtained a Diploma in Textile Design from the National Arts School. He then went on to obtain a diploma in teaching from the University of Goroka. Henry has won extensive awards and participated in many exhibitions from 1988 to 2007 throughout PNG and Australia. He is widely known for his textile designs.
